Individual needs to have experience working within a bank card processing environment either from the acquirer side (such as First Data, or other payment processing company) or the issuing side (such as banks).
They also need to have a solid working knowledge of bank card processing (authorization, settlement & clearing, Interchange, and dispute resolution life cycles). Spanish-speaking ability would be a huge plus.
We are seeking candidates who are within a reasonable commuting distance from New Castle (no relocation) and who do not need sponsorship. The budgeted range for this role is up to $60k.
Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) or equivalent from 4 year College or four years related experience or equivalent combination.
The Analyst provides product and service support for Merchants, Banking partners and 3rd Party Relationships. Client inquiries are received via email and incoming calls. Daily tasks include detailed research for transactions, file movement, settlement, chargeback inquires and POS terminal trouble shooting. Trend analysis on transaction processing is performed. Settlement reconciliation is a daily task. Credit Card processing industry knowledge is critical. This is a fast-paced environment where representatives must be able to shift focus quickly while still ensuring that all clients’ needs are met within the defined timeframes. Organizational skills, the ability to multi-task and communicate effectively are critical. The Representative is a key player in communicating with our Relationship Managers as well as promoting a professional and knowledgeable image at all times.
