Our Client is seeking an Oracle Cloud EPM Functional Analyst for a Direct hire or Contract to hire role

Details: seeking to onboard an Oracle Cloud Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) Functional Analyst to become an integral part of the design, build, test and deployment of a new Oracle EPM platform. The position will report to the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis and work closely with all areas of global Finance, technology, and business partners across the enterprise. In this role you will guide as they design and implement their new Corporate Financial Structure and accompanying Oracle EPM solution including various EPM modules such as Financial Close and Consolidation (FCC), Planning and Budgeting (PBC) and Profitability and Cost Management (PCM). This opportunity provides the ability to be a key contributor to achieve a future state of corporate financial management, reporting and analytics.

Some of the things you will be doing:

Leadership throughout the design, build, test and deployment phases of the EPM modules (EDM, FCC, PBC, PCM).

Coordination amongst various financial, technology and business partners throughout the global enterprise.

Work closely with Business Process Owners in the administration & general management of EPM application functionalities for all implemented modules.

Enhancing monthly close and consolidation process through implementation of the FCC module.

Work closely with the finance business stakeholders to understand requirements and end state needs, i.e. Accounting team for statutory reporting and FP&A team for management reporting.

Facilitation of forecast and budget processes and driving more robust management reporting through the PBC module.

Future development of the PCM module to create logical and data-backed financial allocation processes.

What technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need?

BS in Accounting, Finance or Information Systems; MBA or CPA a plus.

5+ years experience in HFM/Hyperion and/or Oracle Cloud EPM platform & application management.

7+ years operational experience in the areas of financial/operational reporting, forecasting, budgeting or Accounting a plus.

Ability to develop new application components such as business rules, data forms and reports.

Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Excel (VBA preferred).

Extensive knowledge in Accounting and Finance system management & processes.

Ability to operate in a program management environment including business requirements analysis, requirements documentation, business case development, gap analysis, new process documentation, etc.).

Knowledge and experience in data and meta data governance.

Experience in implementing Hyperion/EPM applications in businesses leveraging Oracle EBS and HCM.

General knowledge and experience utilizing essbase cubes.

Ability to work independently and also in a team oriented environment.

Self-motivated and proven record of executing deliverables effectively.

Ability and desire to coach team members and business partners on solution utilization.

Superior communication skills and ability to effectively communicate to all levels of the company with a focus on senior management.

Strong experience in database query functionality in Microsoft PowerPivot, Microsoft Access, Business Objects, or other reporting tools.

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
