Full Description:
Seeking a Senior Security Engineer for our client in Wilmington DE you will be responsible for maintaining code integrity and secure systems, including in the cloud via AWS, as well as utilizing Open Source and/or 3rd party tools for penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and audits. You will manage these critical efforts with support and guidance from the CTO and the engineering team, with the goal of delivering high-quality, secure solutions to our customers around the globe.
What technical skills, experience, and qualifications do I need?
? 5-7 years of experience in cybersecurity
? Expertise in AWS security controls
? Knowledge and/or implementation of ISO 27001 and ISO 27002, SOC II
? CISSP certification
? Pen testing experience, utilizing established tools
? Experience with OWASP and code integrity from the security perspective
? Knowledge of vulnerability and risk assessment tools and technologies, and ability to perform the assessments
? Direct experience with anti-virus, intrusion detection, firewalls and log management
? Experience designing secure networks, systems and application architectures
? Knowledge of disaster recovery
? Experience planning, researching and developing security policies, standards and procedures
? Ability to communicate network security issues to both peers and management
? Problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
? Motivated self-starter with high energy and the ability to work with sense of urgency, allowing for flexibility in a fast-paced environment
Some of the things you’ll be doing:
? Establish cloud security policy for business unit
? Ensure business unit confirms to corporate policies and security controls
? Manage 3rd party vendors for static and dynamic code testing
? Run vulnerability and penetration testing tools
? Conduct security audits
? Provide security reports on quarterly basis to CTO
? Establish cloud environment change management, incident management, etc.
? Manage matrixed teams of software developers and cloud engineers to ensure adherence to established security controls
