The SQL Infrastructure Engineer will build back up and manage permissions to managed SQL instances. The SQL Infrastructure Engineer will serve as the technical lead for certain highly available line-of-business applications and will be the primary escalation point for systems-related problems, accountable for identifying and resolving root causes. The role requires a solid foundation of SQL versions, upgrade paths, best practices, and working experience with common virtualization platforms, cloud platforms (AWS or Azure), and hybrid environments.
