Sr SAS Programmer with HIV
Purpose of this position:
To support non-study level statistical programming activities, which include macro development, data exploratory, data pooling etc.
Job Descriptions (Day-to-day):
The programmer will provide support on (but not limited to):
1. HIV therapy area standard macro (i.e., macros to create genotypic/phenotypic datasets and tables/figures) development and qc.
2. Supporting post-hoc requests (for manuscripts and abstracts) by creating and validating analysis datasets and tables.
3. Pooling study data together for data exploratory and analysis.
4. Providing programming support for other requests from statisticians and other stakeholders (e.g., medical affair, clinical virology, implement sciences)
The ideal candidate will have the following experience:
• 5+ years of experience (minimum) working in Clinical Trials, 10+ years preferred
• strong communication and programming skills
• very well rounded with TLF’s, CDISC – SDTM and ADaM datasets programming/validation
• experience in developing SAS Macros and being able to debug other Macros
• experience with ad-hoc requests – strong problem-solving skills
• excellent interpersonal skills
• HIV TA experience preferred
• SAS experience is a MUST
Education: BA degree required in Computer science, statistics, or related field (including math, electric engineering, etc.
