PSCI: The Fast Five

David Sullivan
Having recently celebrated his 10th anniversary with PSCI, this month we'd like to shine the spotlight on one of our longest tenured consultants, David Sullivan! In his current position, David serves as both a Network Engineer and Project Manager for the State of Delaware's Division of Libraries.

Let's take a moment to learn more about him in this month's Fast Five.

  1. Years and projects worked on at PSCI? I started with PSCI 9/14/09 and have been working with the Delaware Division of Libraries since then. I perform network engineering, project management/deployment and general IT support duties.
  2. What was your first paying job? My first job was at Hurlock Furniture at age 15 on the weekends. I was general help, which included delivery assistance. I can say that weighing in under 100 lbs. I was minimal assistance with deliveries, but I tried.
  3. Favorite weekend hobby? My favorite weekend hobby is hiking and bird watching at one of multiple Hockessin area state parks. My second favorite is home improvement projects (there's always one more on the list).
  4. If you could go anywhere in the world on vacation, where would you go? I'd like to go to Ireland and trace one branch of the family tree.
  5. What separates PSCI from other consulting firms you've worked with? From my perspective, PSCI differentiates itself from firms I've previously worked for by providing both client and consultant a well-balanced opportunity to work together. My 10 plus years at the Delaware Division of Libraries illustrates this outcome well.

Messages of Thanks
While we don't donate to charitable causes for the recognition, it's still nice to hear that we helped make a difference.

This year, we heard back from both families we adopted through Bringing Hope Home's Adopt-A-Family program. They read:

Words cannot express how truly grateful we are for everything. You made our Christmas so joyous. Our daughter LOVED all of her gifts. The fuzzy throw was one of her favorites. She immediately put her new bed sheets on and her new blanket. My husband spent his day sharpening his cutlery with his new sharpener. He is the cook in the house, so he was super excited with his new oven mitts. My gifts fit perfect and are exactly what I needed. Please tell everyone we are overwhelmed with all of the gifts and feel truly blessed. Thank you for picking out the perfect gifts. Thanks to your company for being so generous. Thank you all so much. God bless each of you and your families. Thank you.

Thank you so much for all the amazing gifts! You made our family's Christmas so special. Everyone really loved their gifts. You don't understand how much it meant to us.

Once again, thank you to everyone who helped make this possible.
