A leading IT services firm is seeking a Senior Network Delivery Engineer to join their team. This is a remote position with frequent travel (3–4 times per month, typically 2–5 days per trip) to client sites across the United States. The engineer will provide network design, deployment, Tier III support, and technical leadership to enterprise and government clients.

The ideal candidate will be hands-on, experienced in large-scale network infrastructure, and capable of owning the full lifecycle from planning through implementation. A CCNP certification is required, and an Aruba Certified Professional (ACP) or equivalent OEM credential is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Design, plan, and implement complex network solutions (routing, switching, wireless).
  • Conduct wireless site surveys and post-deployment validations.
  • Deploy and configure routers, switches, WLAN controllers, and access points.
  • Troubleshoot Tier III network issues across routing, switching, wireless, and data center infrastructure.
  • Perform capacity planning and performance analysis for critical network components.
  • Build technical documentation including Visio network diagrams.
  • Support technical pre-sales and solution architecture for clients and sales teams.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and customers to ensure mission success.
  • Maintain vendor certifications and contribute to equipment testing and burn-in.
  • Assist in recruiting technical talent as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • 7–10 years of hands-on experience in enterprise networking (route/switch, wireless, data center).
  • CCNP certification (required).
  • ACP or equivalent OEM certification (preferred).
  • Experience supporting government or DoD clients (preferred).
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Must be willing and able to travel frequently throughout the U.S.
  • U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a DoD clearance.
