Overview

Seeking a mid-level Clinical Programmer with strong R and Python skills to support clinical data management and analytics in a pharmaceutical setting. The focus is on data analysis, cleaning, integration, and visualization review rather than SDTM programming. You’ll collaborate across teams, lead small tasks, and ensure work meets regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze, clean, integrate, and validate clinical datasets.
• Build scripts in R and Python for data manipulation, statistics, and visualization.
• Review and interpret visualization outputs for accuracy and clinical relevance.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to manage data workflows and resolve issues.
• Contribute to light project leadership: mentoring, timeline support, and coordinating deliverables.
• Ensure all programming activities align with industry regulations and internal SOPs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or related field.
• 3–6 years of programming experience in pharma, clinical research, or healthcare.
• Proficiency in R and Python; exposure to SAS, VBA, Java, PowerShell, and other scripting tools.
• Ability to interpret charts and statistical outputs to generate insights.
• Familiarity with clinical data standards and regulatory expectations (e.g., FDA, EMA).
• Demonstrated problem solving, critical thinking, and clear written and verbal communication.
• Experience leading small efforts or initiatives is a plus.
