Test Automation Skill Set: (8 to 10 Years of Experience)

Technical Skills

  • Proficient in Java for developing automated test scripts
  • Hands-on experience with Playwright for Java for web automation
  • Familiarity with other automation tools (e.g., Selenium)
  • Understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, DOM)
  • Experience with build tools and dependency management (Maven)
  • Knowledge of version control systems (Git)
  • Experience with CI/CD tools ( GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)
  • API testing using tools like Postman or REST-assured

Testing and Analytical Skills

  • Strong understanding of software testing principles and SDLC
  • Experience in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test suites
  • Ability to analyze test results and identify defects
  • Skills in debugging and troubleshooting automation scripts

Soft Skills

  • Effective communication and documentation abilities
  • Collaboration with developers, QA, and business stakeholders
  • Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
  • Adaptability to new tools and technologies

Process and Methodology

  • Familiarity with Agile and DevOps practices
  • Experience with requirements analysis and translating them into test cases.
