About the role
The Senior Director of Product Management, Corporate Systems, owns the vision and multi-year roadmap for enterprise corporate platforms across HR, Finance, and adjacent functions. This leader partners with executives and cross-functional stakeholders, manages multiple product teams, and ensures platforms are secure, compliant, and built for scale and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities
- Strategy and roadmap: Define and execute the corporate systems product strategy aligned to business objectives, with a multi-year roadmap across HR and Finance capabilities.
- Team leadership: Build, coach, and develop product managers and directors. Promote a culture of accountability, outcomes, and iterative delivery.
- Platform ownership: Oversee the health, performance, and evolution of core platforms including HR (Workday HCM, workforce management, payroll, scheduling, talent) and Finance (Oracle Fusion Finance across core financials, procurement, expenses, FP&A).
- Governance and vendors: Serve as executive owner for service providers and vendors. Drive performance against SLAs and KPIs with effective governance.
- Agile delivery: Lead product planning, backlog prioritization, and release management to deliver frequent, high-quality value.
- Stakeholder partnership: Translate strategy into clear product requirements. Lead change management, training, and adoption activities.
- Operational excellence: Mature incident, problem, change, and release processes based on ITIL. Monitor operational dashboards, SLAs, and KPIs for continuous improvement.
- Financial stewardship: Partner with business leaders on planning, budgeting, business cases, and ROI tracking.
- Innovation and adoption: Champion user-centric design, experimentation, and measurable adoption across corporate functions.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of IT experience with 8+ years in product management or product ownership for HR, Finance, or corporate systems.
- 5+ years leading product teams.
- Hands-on expertise with Workday HCM and workforce management solutions (scheduling and labor optimization).
- Experience with Oracle Fusion Finance across core financials, procurement, expenses, and planning.
- Familiarity with adjacent corporate platforms such as payroll, compliance, legal, audit, procurement, and collaboration.
- Proven vendor management and MSP oversight with outcomes tied to SLAs and KPIs.
- Depth in product lifecycle management, long-term vision setting, and roadmap execution.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at the executive level.
- BA or BS in MIS, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
