If you've been a reader of this newsletter for long enough then you
might remember that we used to feature a "Quick Tips" section.
These tips, or life hacks, were small morsels of advice and
recommendations to help save you time and make your life
easier.
Below, we've resurrected that section with a handful of new tips we
believe to be quite useful.
1. If you reinstall Windows in
order to sell your computer, look for C:/windows.old afterwards. If
it exists, it contains all of your files from before the
reinstallation.
2. When switching to a new
router, set the SSID and password to the same as the old router.
That way, all of your devices will stay logged
in.
3. Save the job description
when you start a new job. It makes updating your resume much
easier.
4. If you are sent a Pages file by a person with a Mac but you are
on a PC, simply change the extension from .pages to .zip and inside
you will find a PDF version.
5. Want to change the "...."
password box to text so you can see what is written? Right-click
the box and select 'Inspect.' A window will open with some
highlighted text. Change type="password" to type"text" and
voila!
In case you missed them, check out
these recent top reads from publications across the
industry.
And be sure to connect with PSCI on
LinkedIn,
Facebook, and
Twitter to stay in-the-know about the latest trends and
resources.
If you've celebrated a birthday since February, then we hope you've
seen this animated message from us in your
inbox.
If your special day is
still on the horizon, please be on the lookout!
In addition to the birthday email, we're also sending each of our
active consultants a $10 Wawa eGift Card - an even better reason to
check your email!
At PSCI, you, our consultants, are of the utmost importance to us,
and while this gesture may be small, we want you to know how
appreciated you are.
While we've done our best to compile all the recipients of this
newsletter's birthdays, there are still quite a few we're missing.
If you'd like to receive this email from us,
please let us know!
A Spotlight on Mental
Health
PSCI utilizes the
services of Creative Benefits to assist with the intricacies of
benefits administration. As part of their outreach, they've put
forth a Mental Health Campaign to increase mental health
awareness and provide mental health education.
We are using this space to deliver those campaigns to you!
