Welcome back to another edition
of PSCI's client newsletter, the IT Industry Rundown!
Though COVID restrictions are being lifted and life is slowly
returning to normal, the COVID-19 pandemic has altered the way
business gets done for the foreseeable future, if not
permanently.
Perhaps the most glaring illustration of this will be seen in where
work gets done. In years past, a remote work offering was seen as a
benefit. Now, in order to attract and retain talent, it's nearly a
necessity.
That's why this edition of our quarterly newsletter focuses solely
on that issue. Below, you'll find articles from various industry
publications stressing the importance of adopting a hybrid work
schedule. In addition, our own blog posts cover how to ease
employees back into the office and how to successfully onboard
remote hires.
I hope you find these articles helpful as you continue to formalize
your future work plans. As always, please remember
to connect with PSCI on
LinkedIn,
Twitter, and Facebook for
the latest IT industry news and information.

The Rules of Work Have Changed - Ignore That and We All Lose
Out A recent survey conducted by Robert

still crave in-person interaction with coworkers. A balanced
approach, then, is needed in order to take the needs of both the
staff and business into account. In this article, the Tech Republic
reports on the hybrid model. Read

Technologists Prefer Hybrid or
Remote Work Options While surveys of remote workers have
shown that remote work can make it hard on employees to develop and
maintain working relationships with both colleagues and managers,
it's still a preference for most tech workers. Those companies that
are able to build an agile approach that gives their workers
flexibility and control over their work environment will be the
ones that succeed in attracting and retaining top talent. Article
