Business Subject Matter Expert 1 (Conversion Analyst)

Duration: 6 Months

Location: Remote with occasional onsite meetings in Delaware as needed

Interview Process: Virtual Interviews

About the Role

Our client is seeking a Conversion Analyst to support analytics initiatives focused on conversion optimization, data quality, and reporting insights. This role will work closely with technical and business teams to analyze customer behavior, improve data integrity, and support strategic decision-making through data-driven recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

Data & Analytics Support

  • Design and maintain data models that support analytics, reporting, and measurement initiatives.
  • Implement data quality checks, monitoring processes, and documentation practices.
  • Utilize SQL querying to support reporting and data analysis efforts.

Conversion & Business Insights

  • Analyze customer journeys, funnel performance, and behavioral trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Support A/B testing analysis and assist in evaluating business and product initiatives.
  • Translate data findings into actionable recommendations for stakeholders.

Cross Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with project managers, business stakeholders, ETL developers, and technical teams to define KPIs and reporting requirements.
  • Present findings and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Identify data quality concerns and potential reporting risks.

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, data engineering, or related roles.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling concepts.
  • Experience with BI and reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar platforms.
  • Experience collaborating with ETL developers and database teams.
  • Ability to communicate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with public sector or government-related data environments.
  • Familiarity with data validation and system integration initiatives.
  • Experience supporting large-scale data quality or reporting projects.
