Stibo STEP MDM Developer

Position Overview

Our client is seeking a Stibo STEP MDM Developer to support enterprise master data initiatives, platform enhancements, workflow development, and system integrations. This role will work closely with technical leads, architects, and business teams to expand STEP platform capabilities and integrate with enterprise applications including SAP and related systems.

Responsibilities

• Configure and enhance STEP data models, attributes, hierarchies, and business rules.

• Design, build, and maintain STEP workflows supporting onboarding, enrichment, approval, and governance processes.

• Develop and troubleshoot integrations between STEP and enterprise systems using APIs and file-based interfaces.

• Implement import/export processes, data mappings, and transformation logic.

• Work with STEP XML for configuration management, workflow logic, and data exchange processes.

• Support testing, debugging, deployment validation, and documentation of STEP configurations and integrations.

• Collaborate with architects, developers, and business stakeholders to deliver platform enhancements and resolve technical issues.

• Provide production support, data maintenance, and troubleshooting assistance when needed.

• Participate in Agile development activities including feature reviews, peer reviews, QA validation, and deployment support.

Required Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Stibo STEP configuration and development.

• Strong understanding of STEP XML and its role in platform configuration and data structures.

• Experience building and maintaining workflows, business rules, and UI components within STEP.

• Understanding of REST and SOAP APIs along with enterprise integration patterns.

• Experience working with Stibo Extension APIs.

• Familiarity with SAP data structures and integration methodologies.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable MDM solutions and configurations.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience documenting workflows, integrations, testing processes, and technical configurations.

• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams.

• Understanding of Agile software development methodologies and lifecycle processes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Java development experience.

• Exposure to Kafka and event-driven integration concepts.

• Experience working with JSON data structures and exchange formats.

• Familiarity with Talend or other ETL/integration platforms.

• Experience supporting product master data initiatives.

• Experience working in Agile development environments.

• Ability to perform root-cause analysis related to data quality or integration challenges.
