Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Developer to join a small, collaborative team supporting a 24×7 operational environment. This role involves both development and analysis, working closely with project managers, technical teams, and business stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions across the full project lifecycle.

The ideal candidate is a strong problem solver with solid business acumen, capable of working independently while collaborating across technical and non-technical teams. This position includes participation in a rotating on-call schedule to support critical systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain web-based applications in a real-time operational environment
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, support testing, and deliver solutions
  • Work across full project lifecycles from concept through deployment and support
  • Integrate applications with various systems, APIs, and data sources
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
  • Participate in a rotating on-call support schedule
  • Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • 3+ years of experience with JSON, AJAX, REST APIs, and WebSockets
  • 7+ years of experience in application design and development
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with modern web technologies such as TypeScript, Angular, Signals, and Angular Material
  • Experience with Java (JDK) and backend development
  • Familiarity with application servers such as Jetty or NestJS
  • Experience with databases including Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL
  • Knowledge of Node.js and related frameworks
  • Experience with development tools such as IntelliJ IDEA, WebStorm, and Postman
  • Familiarity with build tools such as Ant, Maven, or TeamCity
  • Experience with Apache Web Server, MongoDB, and related technologies
  • Understanding of system integrations and scheduling tools such as SNMP, LDAP, or Quartz
