Position Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and oversee enterprise-level projects from initiation through completion. This role is responsible for driving project execution, managing timelines and deliverables, mitigating risks, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring effective communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
• Lead the planning, execution, and oversight of complex projects while collaborating directly with key stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including objectives, timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
• Oversee business requirements gathering, analysis, documentation, and ongoing maintenance activities.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues while maintaining RAID logs and project governance documentation.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and subject matter experts to ensure successful project delivery.
• Facilitate collaboration across business and technical teams to support project objectives.
• Oversee testing efforts to ensure project scope and quality standards are met.
• Prepare and deliver regular project status reports and executive-level updates.
• Develop and execute communication plans that provide clear, accurate, and timely project information to stakeholders.
• Establish and facilitate steering committee meetings and governance processes.
• Lead project meetings and translate technical concepts into concise, actionable information for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Required Qualifications
• Experience managing enterprise-level projects within complex organizational environments.
• Experience writing, maintaining, and reporting on CMS Advance Planning Documents (APDs), including Implementation APDs (IAPDs) and Operational APDs (OAPDs).
• Knowledge of compliance standards related to 45 CFR § 95.610 and CMS SMDT 16-009 requirements.
• Ability to translate complex Medicaid Enterprise System (MES) project milestones, schedules, and expenditures into concise documentation for federal review and approval.
• Strong project planning, communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience facilitating cross-functional collaboration between business and technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications
• Prior experience supporting Medicaid Enterprise System (MES) initiatives or government-related programs.
• Experience working within regulated or public-sector environments.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and executive communication skills.
Additional Information
• Primarily remote position with occasional onsite meetings required in the Bear, Delaware area several times per month.
• Travel expenses are not reimbursed for onsite attendance.
