Happy Thanksgiving!
Thanksgiving may be the first major holiday you'll be celebrating
with extended family in more than a year. Why not entertain them
with some interesting facts about the holiday?!
In this month's Fast Five, we share five fun facts about the
Thanksgiving holiday.
1.Turkey wasn't served at the first
Thanksgiving. Instead, the menu featured venison, duck, goose,
oysters, lobster, eel, fish, pumpkins, and
cranberries.
2. Abraham Lincoln proclaimed
Thanksgiving a national holiday in 1863 after being convinced to do
so by Sarah Josepha Hale, the woman who wrote, "Mary Had a Little
Lamb."
3. More people travel to Orlando, Florida than anywhere else on
Thanksgiving.
4.The average number of calories consumed on
Thanksgiving is 4,500. That's nearly double the recommended calorie
intake per day!
5.The tradition of football on Thanksgiving
began in 1876 with a game between Yale and Princeton. The first NFL
games were played on Thanksgiving in
1920.
In case you missed them, check out

Last
month, PSCI was both a sponsor and vendor at the Secure Delaware
2021 Cybersecurity Workshop.
Unlike last year's virtual conference, this year's conference was
held in-person at the Chase Center on the Riverfront in Wilmington
DE (though still open to virtual attendees).
Hosted by the Delaware Department of Technology & Information, the
conference provided valuable cybersecurity information and
education. Topics included phishing/scamming in 2021, cloud
solutions, cyber insurance, and more.
Each year, this is one of our most favorite conferences to attend
as we get to mingle with both PSCI clients and consultants. We're
already looking forward to next year!
A Spotlight on Mental
Health
PSCI utilizes the
services of Creative Benefits to assist with the intricacies of
benefits administration. As part of their outreach, they've put
forth a Mental Health Campaign to increase mental health
awareness and provide mental health education.
We are using this space to deliver those campaigns to you!
