IT Industry Rundown – Spring 2020

PSCI ENEWSLETTER

Spring 2020
Welcome!

Together, we are facing a truly unprecedented situation. The global coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic is affecting all of our families, our businesses, our communities, and our way of life. While I typically use this space to reintroduce you to our quarterly newsletter, today, I wanted to reach out and update our valued clients on how we at PSCI are approaching the situation.

First and foremost, our hearts go out to anyone who's been affected by the virus, either directly or indirectly. It is in times like these that I'm reminded, and take solace in, one of my favorite quotes by Fred Rogers, who said that when bad things happen to "look for the helpers." I am truly inspired by the countless healthcare workers around the world who are on the front lines working tirelessly caring for those in need.

Secondly, at PSCI, we are focused on the health and safety of our employees. That is why PSCI is taking appropriate precautions to address the outbreak by following guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), as well as orders enforced by Delaware Governor, John Carney. This means that for the foreseeable future, the entirety of our internal staff will be working from home. While this is new to many, the transition has been seamless. Please continue to expect the highest levels of performance and availability from our truly dedicated staff.

As for our consultants, who we know make up valuable and essential members of your IT teams, we have instructed each to abide by their individual client workplace policies. While, for some, that means business as usual (those whose daily responsibilities require an on-site presence), the majority of our consultants have graciously been granted the ability to work from home.

Which brings me to my third and final point; a sincere thank you. Without your flexibility, patience, and adaptability, these trying times would be made exponentially harder. As always, thank you for being a PSCI partner and for your continued trust as we manage through this time together.

With sincere regards,

Chris O’Neill
President & CEO
