Our client is seeking an ERP Manager responsible for the development, customization, and optimization of their enterprise resource planning (ERP) business process management software. This role is critical in supporting internal operational requirements by enhancing ERP functionality beyond the core platform.
The ERP Manager will ensure the ERP system operates efficiently by developing solutions to address system limitations, assessing business requirements, and translating those needs into technical functionality. This individual will work closely with technical teams, ERP stakeholders, and business leaders to improve overall system effectiveness.
Responsibilities:
- Provide ERP implementation services, system configuration, customization, and testing
- Participate in business process discussions with technical teams, ERP leadership, and functional business stakeholders
- Maintain strong working knowledge of ERP platforms and supporting technologies
- Identify, scope, and oversee required system customizations
- Troubleshoot ERP system issues and develop effective solutions
- Prepare program documentation related to all system enhancements and customizations
- Support additional technical and operational initiatives as needed
- Travel as required
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related technical field
- Strong knowledge of programming, systems analysis, and information technology principles
- Experience with MS SQL, PL SQL, or T-SQL preferred
- Familiarity with SQL, HTML development, database design, and ERP development environments
- Proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Strong analytical, technical, and business process improvement capabilities
