Software Developer / DevSecOps Engineer

Location: Fort Meade, MD (Onsite)

Clearance: Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph Required

Overview

Our client is seeking Software Developers and DevSecOps Engineers across multiple experience levels to support the development, deployment, and maintenance of mission-critical applications within a modern cloud and DevSecOps environment. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex software solutions supporting critical national security initiatives while leveraging the latest technologies in cloud computing, automation, and infrastructure modernization.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software applications and services.
  • Support cloud-native application development and modernization efforts.
  • Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile development environments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software and infrastructure issues.
  • Support Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation initiatives.
  • Maintain technical documentation and participate in system planning activities.
  • Contribute to DevSecOps best practices and continuous improvement efforts.

Required Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph.
  • Experience with one or more of the following: Python, Java, JavaScript, or Bash.
  • Strong Linux experience.
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.
  • Experience with Git/GitHub or similar source control tools.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, or similar technologies.
  • CI/CD experience using tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
  • DevOps, DevSecOps, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), or cloud automation experience.
  • Experience supporting large-scale enterprise or mission-critical systems.
