Workday Integration Consultant

Location: Wilmington, DE (Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite)

Position Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Workday Integration Consultant to support the design, development, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of Workday integrations and reporting solutions. This individual will play a key role in ensuring seamless data exchange between Workday and enterprise applications while supporting critical HR, payroll, finance, and operational processes.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in Workday integrations, reporting, and data management, along with hands-on experience supporting Workday implementations and enhancements. Experience with Workday Extend and Prism Analytics is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain Workday integrations utilizing EIB, Core Connectors, Workday Studio, Web Services, and APIs.
• Support inbound and outbound integrations between Workday and third-party systems.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot integration issues and ensure data accuracy across multiple systems.
• Develop and maintain Workday reports, dashboards, and calculated fields.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, Payroll, IT, and business stakeholders to support Workday functionality and reporting needs.
• Participate in system testing, upgrades, enhancements, and production support activities.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, integration specifications, and support procedures.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and system optimization.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5–10 years of hands-on Workday experience.
• Experience participating in at least one full-cycle Workday implementation.
• Strong experience developing and supporting Workday integrations.
• Experience with:
  • Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB)
  • Core Connectors
  • Workday Studio
  • Workday APIs and Web Services
• Strong Workday reporting experience.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Workday Extend.
• Experience with Workday Prism Analytics.
• Workday certification(s).
• Experience supporting Workday HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Financials, or Talent Management modules.
• Experience working within large enterprise environments.
