Position Overview
Our client is seeking a Vice President of Product to lead product strategy and execution across key enterprise domains, including in-store systems, digital platforms, and merchandising operations. This role is responsible for delivering measurable business value through a product-led approach, ensuring technology solutions enhance customer experience, improve operational efficiency, and drive revenue growth.
This leader will own the full product lifecycle from strategy through execution and optimization, partnering closely with business and technology stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and high-impact solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Delivery
- Define and execute product vision, strategy, and roadmaps aligned with long-term business goals
- Establish outcome-driven KPIs tied to revenue, customer experience, and operational performance
- Ensure products deliver measurable business value, not just feature completion
- Balance short-term business needs with long-term scalability and platform stability
Domain Ownership
- Lead product strategy across:
- In-store systems and customer experience platforms
- Digital and eCommerce solutions, including mobile and omnichannel capabilities
- Merchandising and planning systems, including pricing, allocation, and analytics
- Ensure seamless integration across physical and digital experiences
Product Lifecycle Management
- Oversee discovery, prioritization, roadmap planning, delivery, launch, and ongoing optimization
- Partner with engineering to ensure solutions are scalable, reliable, and secure
- Drive both transformational initiatives and continuous improvement efforts
Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as the primary product partner to senior business leaders
- Communicate strategy, progress, risks, and outcomes to executive leadership
- Lead regular strategy and performance reviews with key stakeholders
Financial & Portfolio Management
- Own product investment planning, budgeting, and forecasting
- Prioritize initiatives based on ROI, business impact, and capacity
- Track and report on KPIs such as adoption, value delivered, and total cost of ownership
Leadership & Team Development
- Build and lead high-performing product teams
- Establish clear expectations, career paths, and performance standards
- Coach teams to operate with ownership and accountability for outcomes
Enterprise Leadership
- Contribute to overall technology strategy and portfolio prioritization
- Drive cross-functional alignment and resolve dependencies across teams
- Balance innovation, speed, risk, and cost across the technology landscape
- Support development of future leaders within the organization
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
- 10+ years of experience in product management or product-led delivery
- 5+ years in senior leadership roles within product or technology
- Experience working across enterprise systems, digital platforms, and operational tools
- Strong strategic thinking and roadmap development capabilities
- Proven ability to manage complex product portfolios and deliver business outcomes
