Senior Data Specialist – Supply Chain Analytics

Overview

We are seeking a Senior Data Specialist – Supply Chain Analytics to lead the development of advanced analytics, reporting, and business intelligence solutions that improve end-to-end supply chain performance. This role will partner with cross-functional business and technology teams to centralize data, automate reporting, and deliver meaningful insights that support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop dashboards, scorecards, reports, and visualizations that provide actionable supply chain insights
• Analyze operational performance and identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
• Build and automate reporting processes using business intelligence platforms
• Partner with IT and business stakeholders to centralize, integrate, and improve data quality across multiple data sources
• Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and performance reporting for vendors and operational teams
• Create predictive and diagnostic analyses to support operational planning and decision making
• Perform complex SQL queries and data analysis across large datasets
• Translate complex analytical findings into clear business recommendations through effective storytelling and visualization
• Support forecasting, vendor performance analysis, inventory management, transportation analytics, and operational reporting
• Collaborate across Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, IT, and other business units to improve processes and leverage data for continuous improvement
• Lead analytics initiatives and support the development of best practices for reporting and business intelligence
• Train business users on reporting tools, dashboards, and analytics capabilities

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Analytics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
• 4+ years of experience in supply chain analytics, operations, logistics, transportation, warehouse operations, or business intelligence
• Advanced SQL skills and experience working with large, complex datasets
• Experience with Business Intelligence platforms and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
• Experience with Python or other analytical programming languages
• Strong understanding of descriptive, diagnostic, and predictive analytics
• Experience developing KPIs, dashboards, and executive reporting
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities with the ability to explain complex data to business stakeholders
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and work cross-functionally

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Analytics, Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related discipline
• Experience with ERP systems and enterprise data environments
• Experience with supply chain control towers or operational performance platforms
• Knowledge of vendor performance management, inventory optimization, transportation analytics, and logistics operations
• Experience with automation, data integration, and process improvement initiatives
